Kelly Clarkson is clearly a big fan of Wynonna Judd.
Since she started hosting The Kelly Clarkson Show in 2019, Kelly has delivered multiple “Kellyoke” covers of Wynonna’s songs. She sang The Judds‘ “Why Not Me” as well as Wynonna’s solo track “I Saw the Light.”
Her love for Wynonna’s music dates back much further. She famously performed The Judds’ “Rockin’ with the Rhythm of the Rain” with eventual Voice champion Chevel Shepherd in 2018. Before that, she covered Wynonna’s massive solo hit “No One Else on Earth” during her Piece by Piece tour in 2015.
Kelly revisited “No One Else on Earth” for a new “Kellyoke” performance on her talk show that aired in November 2020.
Since both Wynonna and Kelly are powerhouse vocalists, Wynonna’s songs are well-suited to Kelly’s voice. “No One Else on Earth” gives her the perfect opportunity to show off her range and control.
