Ever since Lady Antebellum‘s Hillary Scott and her husband Chris Tyrell revealed she was expecting twin girls, her fans have anxiously awaited every update about her pregnancy. One of the most exciting updates came in early January, when Hillary hinted at her twin daughters’ names.
On her Instagram Story, Hillary shared a snapshot of three matching sweatshirts, and each one was labled with a letter. The grey sweatshirt, which was labeled with an “E,” was presumed to belong to Hillary and Chris’ oldest daughter, Eisele.
Fans were quick to figure out that the two white sweatshirts must be for the twins. Hillary labeled those shirts with and “E” and a “B,” leaving fans to wonder what she and Chris were planning to name their two new bundles of joy.
Later in January, Hillary had some more exciting news to share when she revealed that the twins were born on January 29th. She refrained from sharing their names or a photo of them at the time, writing, “We can’t wait to share more about them in the days to come.”

Finally, exactly one week after the twins’ birth, Hillary shared their first public photos and their names. Just as fans suspected, the girls’ first initials match the letters that Hillary labeled on the sweatshirts that she shared in her Instagram Story weeks ago.
As Hillary shared on Instagram on Monday (February 5), the twins are identical, though their names are as unique as can be. The names she and Chris chose were Betsy Mack and Emory JoAnn, and based on her post, the two girls are already inseparable.
“Their favorite place to be, other than on me, is nose to nose and cheek to cheek,” Hillary wrote.
Hillary also shared two photos of the twins, including one with Eisele. Hillary said that Eisele has instantly taken to her new role as big sister, writing, “She is already such an incredible little helper.”
