Lainey Wilson Brought Some Country Christmas Spirit To The NFL

Country music superstar Lainey Wilson celebrated Christmas Day doing what she does best! The “4X4XU” singer joined music legend Snoop Dog on stage during Netflix’ NFL Christmas Halftime Show during the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis..

Wearing a dazzling white winter jumpsuit and her signature cowboy hat, Lainey made her entrance at midfield in a sleigh before performing a holiday-themed rendition of “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.”

Perhaps one of the most special moments of her grand entrance was that she was joined in the sleigh by her sweet fiance and former NFL quarterback, Duck.

Snoop Dog wore a red fur-trimmed coat, and opened the broadcast with a holiday-themed performance that blended his signature style with seasonal flair. He first began with a rendition of “My Favorite Things” from The Sound of Music, performing alongside a group of ballerinas as part of the opening number.

Lainey’s Unstoppable 2025

Lainey has had quite the unforgettable 2025. Just last month, Lainey hosted the CMA Awards on her own, without a co-host. She became only the third woman in CMA history to serve as the ceremony’s sole host, following in the footsteps of Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire.

In addition to hosting the CMA Awards, Lainey took home three major awards of the night, including Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year (for the fourth time!), and Album of the Year.

Lainey also won Entertainer of the Year AND Female Artist of the Year at the 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards in May.

Congratulations to Lainey Wilson on an incredible year!
