Lainey Wilson Has Had An Incredible Year
2025 has been quite the remarkable year for Lainey Wilson, as she has won multiple awards and released a number of new songs.
Earlier this year, the country singer took home four new Academy of Country Music Awards, including Entertainer of the Year, making her the first woman in more than 10 years to win the title two years in a row!
Lainey also joined forces with Reba McEntire and Miranda Lambert to collaborate on the song “Trailblazer,” a track that celebrates the influential female artists of country music’s past and present.
“I remember thinking that this could be a song that a grandmother and a daughter and a grandchild could listen to,” she said of the hit. “And not just about the history of country music… If we’re not thinking about the people that we’re singing to then they’re not going to be able to relate.”
In addition to her music, Lainey is also an incredibly successful businesswoman!
The singer launched her own boot brand, Golden West Boots, in June of this year. She posted a video on her Instagram at the time, revealing the new “Artisan Crafted” line.
“I love songwriting, because it lets me put myself into someone else’s shoes, and see the world through another set of eyes,” Lainey says in the video.
The footage pans through different scenarios of Lainey’s life as she models multiple styles of boots, from at home with her own French Bulldog, Hippie, to walking through an open field.
The brand’s social media explains that the boots are “rooted in storytelling” and “designed for the trailblazer.”
Lainey also announced in May of 2024 the opening of her very own bar in Tennessee.
Bell Bottoms Up is located in the heart of downtown Nashville, and with two live music stages and four bars, has been a local favorite among tourists and natives alike.
The bar represents Lainey’s home state of Louisiana, offering delicious Southern flavors, Cajun-inspired food and many New Orleans-themed drinks.
Lainey Stars In Her Very First Feature Film
Now, Lainey is making her very first film debut, and fans were given a special look with the release of the official trailer this week.
The country singer will be starring in Universal Picture’s adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestseller Reminders of Him. Lainey plays Amy, a kind-hearted co-worker and friend to the main character Kenna, played by Maika Monroe.
In the first trailer, Amy greets Kenna with the line: “What’s your trauma?,” hinting at the emotional depth of the story.
