The World Of Landman Reaches A Boiling Point In New Trailer For Season 2
Landman is cranking up the heat in its final trailer for Season 2.
The second season of the explosive Paramount+ series premieres on Sunday, November 16. The show stars Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, James Jordan, and Sam Elliott.
Landman has already released several teasers in the form of pictures and trailers. Then, the first official trailer was released on October 1, offering the most in-depth look at the new season we’d seen up to that point.
Now, with just a little over three weeks to go until the premiere, Landman has released its final trailer for Season 2. We see a series of dramatic scenes play out in the trailer, but the biggest bombshell comes near the end.
Cami Miller (Moore) approaches Tommy and says she discovered why her late husband and CEO of M-Tex Oil, Monty Miller, “was so stressed.” In subsequent scenes, it’s implied that the company is under suspicion for committing embezzlement, insurance fraud, and wire fraud, and the “sharks” are circling those at the top, including Cami and Tommy.
The trailer ends with Tommy saying, “This business will bleed you dry. If you stay in it, you lose it all.“

Sam Elliott Has Joined The Cast Of Landman – Here’s What We Know About His Mysterious Character
Sam Elliott is a new addition to the Landman cast this season. The 1883 and Tombstone star will play Tommy Norris’ father, T.L.
Other than revealing his name and his tie to Tommy, Landman has not shared much about T.L. Although he has been featured in various teasers and trailers, the clips keep T.L. shrouded in a veil of mystery.
When asked about Elliott joining the cast, Thornton, a longtime friend, focused on their shared experience as actors. He didn’t leak any information about Elliott’s character.
“I’ve known Sam for a long time,” Thornton said. “We’ve known each other since the ’80s, and to have him there is just a joy for me. He’s been a hero of mine my whole career, and I call him my friend, and he’s a great actor.”
Looks like we’ll just have to tune in to Landman on November 16 to learn more about T.L. and the role he’ll play in the story. You can also catch glimpses of him in the trailer above.
