James Jordan Has Worked With Yellowstone Creator Taylor Sheridan For Years
If you’ve been a longtime fan of Taylor Sheridan‘s work, you’ve surely seen James Jordan in one (or more) of his projects. Jordan first started working with Sheridan in 2017, when he played Pete Mickens in his film Wind River.
Two years later, Jordan started playing the recurring character Steve Hendon on Sheridan’s breakout TV series, Yellowstone. Jordan appeared in 12 episodes of the series from 2019 through 2022.
Sheridan cast Jordan in several of his other shows, including the Yellowstone prequel 1833, Mayor of Kingstown, and Special Ops: Lioness. Jordan likely connected with Schrey on the latter series, since she worked in the makeup department from 2023 to 2024.
Jordan also starred in Sheridan’s 2021 action thriller film, Those Who Wish Me Dead.
Jordan currently plays petroleum engineer Dale Bradley on Sheridan’s Landman, which also stars Billy Bob Thornton, Sam Elliott, Ali Larter, and Demi Moore. The show’s second season will premiere on November 16th.
