Will Lainey Wilson be trading in singing for acting? According to her, she’s already had multiple opportunities come her way.

Wilson first gave acting a try when she appeared in season 5 of Yellowstone. Then, it was confirmed earlier this year that she had landed her first feature film role in the upcoming adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel Reminders of Him.

And things haven’t slowed down for the “Whirlwind” singer either. Those first roles have opened the door to even more opportunies in television and film. In a recent interview with Taste of Country Nights, Wilson shared that she’s now being offered multiple projects on a regular basis.

“I’m honestly getting pitched things right and left, which is cool,” she revealed. “Opportunities where I am a musician, opportunities where I’m not, opportunities just to write for shows.”

To put in perspective just how many offers are coming her way, Wilson added that they are “kinda endless at this point.”

But she isn’t ready to set her music aside to focus on acting just yet. Wilson explained that while she’s “entertaining a lot of things,” most of the projects haven’t worked out so far.

That’s most likely because her schedule is already packed with nonstop performances and tour dates.

In fact, she has shared that her team is already booking shows as far out as 2027. She’s been so busy that she hasn’t even started wedding planning, even though she’s been engaged for six months.

“Well, you ain’t gonna believe this but we still have not planned it, bless his heart,” Wilson previously shared to Taste of Country. “It just seems like everything else is getting planned [instead].”

But, her and her fiancé Devlin “Duck” Hodges do what they can. Wilson explained that even though they don’t know when their wedding will be, they still talk about what they want for the big day when the time comes.

“Of course we sit around and talk about like, what we would want,” she clarified. “Just trying to figure out is it [the wedding] big or small? Is cousin so-and-so coming? Is cousin so-and-so not?”
