Landman Is Back For Season 2!
Although there is no official release date yet, production for the new season of Landman is well underway, and the cast and crew have been sharing short sneak peeks into filming. Taylor Sheridan’s hit series broke Paramount+ records with season 1, so it was no surprise to fans that a season 2 was coming.
Ali Larter, who plays Angela, Tommy Norris’ chaotic wife, recently shared some sneak peek photos from the filming set.
The first photo shows Angela posing with what looks like a tractor in her exuberant wardrobe, followed by behind-the-scenes shots of filming days and her posing with her co-stars. While the comments section is mainly filled with fans praising how good she looks at 49, there is also a buzz of excitement for season two. See the behind-the-scenes photos below!

Where Did We Leave Off In Season 1 Of Landman?
As a brief recap, season 1 concluded explosively with the spoiler alert death of Monty (John Hamm), which leads fans to believe that Demi Moore will take a more central role in season two. Billy Bob Thornton confirmed this in an interview with Deadline, stating that,
“Since she doesn’t really know the oil business that well, I’m there with her to show her how these poeple operate. You can know something intellectually but what are the street smarts behind it? I know how to deal with these people she’s going to have to deal with. I just tell her, ‘Look, some of these deals you can take but when it gets really weird and difficult, let me know because I know these guys.’”
He then continued to address his role in season two, sharing a sneak peek into what the dynamics might look like for this interesting character.
“He goes from having a job that’s really difficult and a job that’s very dangeorus to having two. Now I’m kind of executive and a landman and a family man in the midst of this tornado. It makes for some pretty interesting stuff I have to say.”

We also know that a new character has been introduced to raise the stakes in season 2.
In the finale of season 1, Tommy gets kidnapped but is rescued by a new character named Galino, played by the well-known actor Andy Garcia. Galino is a high-ranking leader in a drug cartel and is expected to become friends with Tommy in season two.
Besides Tommy Norris’s character, Ariana and Cooper are well into a relationship. Cooper has started his business venture, securing his first client, making fans wonder if he will play a larger role in the oil industry in season 2.
Ainsley Norris and her mother are up to their usual shenanigans, bringing new life to an old-age home.
