Luke Bryan Dances While Rhett Akins Busks On Sidewalk In Cleveland

When it comes to inserting dance moves into country songs, Luke Bryan is a pro. From day one, Bryan has been making plenty of country girls go crazy by “shakin’ it” on stage while getting down to his groove-worthy tunes.

Usually, Bryan opts to dance while he sings. But he changed things up a bit when he came across a busker playing on the streets of Cleveland.

That busker wasn’t your typical street performer. It was none other than country singer-songwriter Rhett Akins, known for songs such as “Don’t Get Me Started” and “That Ain’t My Truck.” As a songwriter, Akins has penned some pretty big hits, including Blake Shelton‘s “Boys ‘Round Here” and “Honey Bee” and Lee Brice‘s “Parking Lot Party.”

So what was Akins doing busking on a sidewalk in Cleveland? He was traveling along with the Peach Pickers songwriting crew, which includes Akins, Dallas Davidson, and Ben Hayslip. The trio tagged along with Bryan on his Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day Tour, and decided to have a bit of fun before the show.

A small crowd gathered as Akins began playing Bryan’s number one hit, “That’s My Kind of Night,” which was written by Davidson. Hayslip filmed the performance, and moved the camera around to focus on the passerbys that stopped to watch. One guy was really getting into it!

It’s hard to tell if anyone in the audience knew who Akins was. But we’re sure they realized his fame once Bryan randomly appeared and comically began busting a move to his streetside performance!

Bryan pulled off a few silly dance moves before he dashed off to the side, leaving as quickly as he came. Everyone watching seemed to get a kick out of his random interjection into Akins’ performance.

We love seeing casual videos of country singers like this, because it shows how they can be just like us. Tune in to the clip below to watch Rhett busk and Bryan dance along. Looks like they had a good time!
