One unique American Idol hopeful by the name of Tory N. Teasley had the judges laughing with her brazen delivery of CeeLo Green’s 2010 megahit ”F**k You.”
”I’m Tory N. Teasley, my middle name is Nicholas, so if you put it all together I’m TNT,” said Teasley after Bryan asked the contestant to ”introduce yourself.”
The auditionee promptly began singing, with her choice of song sending the judges into a frenzy. While the contestant is a talented singer no doubt, Teasley straightforward delivery of the explicit lyrics had the country singer on the floor in disbelief.
Green’s ”F**k You” – also known as ”Forget You” – was released as the first single off his third album The Lady Killer back in 2010. The song was a commercial success for Green, topping the charts in the United Kingdom as well as hitting No.2 on Billboard’s Hot 100.
