Luke Combs’ next album, The Way I Am, is on its way!
Exciting news for Luke Combs fans as the “Beautiful Crazy” singer has just announced the title and release date for his next album. Last week, eagle-eyed fans noticed a mysterious countdown appear on the musician’s website, alluding to a big announcement in the works.
Today, January 7th, Combs announced that his sixth full-length studio album will drop on March 20th. Titled The Way I Am, the new project will contain 22 songs, including the already available tracks, “Back In The Saddle,” “My Kinda Saturday Night,” and “Giving Her Away.”
It has been nearly a decade since Combs released his debut album, This One’s For You, in 2017. The album topped the US Country Albums chart and reached the fourth spot on the Billboard 200 all-genre chart. It kicked off a string of successes that few artists in the genre will ever match.
After his debut single “Hurricane” went number one, the North Carolina native charted a staggering 17 consecutive number-one hits.
Luke Combs Previews New Music With The Prequel
In October, Combs released a three-song EP titled The Prequel. The tracks, “My Kinda Saturday Night,” “15 Minutes,” and “Days Like These,” showed his versatility as an artist and gave fans a preview of his next project.
“My Kinda Saturday Night” is a fun-loving party song written with Randy Montana and Jonathan Singleton. Combs co-wrote “15 Minutes” with Terry Pendley, Rob Pennington, and Grant Vogel. The emotional song is penned from the perspective of a prisoner speaking to his mother from behind bars.
Finally, Combs was the sole songwriter on The Prequel‘s third and final track, “Days Like These,” which is heartfelt reflection on the blessings in his life.

“Sleepless In A Hotel Room” Is Out Now
Along with the exciting news of his next album, Combs surprise-dropped a new song titled “Sleepless In A Hotel Room.” Combs began teasing clips of the song earlier this week, prompting fans to beg for its release.
“Want to hear the whole song! Its friggn awesome!” wrote one follower.
“Convinced you cannot make a bad song…” commented another.
