Luke Combs recently teased a brand-new song titled “Be By You” ahead of the release of his upcoming album, The Way I Am.
At the start of the new year, Luke Combs announced that his sixth full-length studio album will be released on March 20. The project will feature 22 songs, including a few tracks he’s already shared with fans, like “Back in the Saddle” and “Give Her Away.”
For months, Combs has been teasing and releasing new music in the lead-up to The Way I Am. He even dropped a brand-new single, “Sleepless in a Hotel Room,” alongside the album announcement.

And he’s not done giving fans early previews of the album, either. About three weeks ago, Combs first teased a new song titled “Be By You.”
The track finds Combs wanting just one simple thing: to be with the person he loves every day of his life.
Then, on Thursday, February 5, Combs shared another Instagram video of himself in the studio recording the track. In it, he sings the following lyrics.
I can’t leave your lovin’ alone/ Where you are is where I belong / I hope I ain’t comin’ on too strong / Just wanna hold you close, baby / Kinda looks like you do too / I just wanna make love, wake up next to you / No makeup, baby, nothing beats that view / But I guess what it comes down to / Is I just wanna be by you”
He also revealed that the track will be released early, officially coming out on February 13.
Fans couldn’t be more excited for another taste of new music from Combs. Many are barely holding on until the album drops next month!
The comment section of his video was flooded with praise for what they’ve heard of “Be By You” so far. Some of those comments included:
“CANNOT WAITTTTT ❤️❤️🙌🙌”
“OMG BEST NEWS ALL DAY”
“Need this album stat!! I can’t wait 🔥🔥🔥🔥💜”

Luke Combs Cancels His Performance For The Madden Bowl
Combs does have his album release to look forward to, but there’s even bigger news coming his way. Any day now, his wife Nicole could be giving birth to their third child.
It’s coming up so soon that Combs had to make the tough call to back out of his Madden Bowl Performance scheduled for Friday, February 6.
He shared a statement online about his last-minute decision, simply saying that family had to come first.
“So sorry to miss y’all at Madden Bowl, but family always comes first. Have a great time,” He wrote.
Country star Zach Bryan will be taking his spot instead.
