Megan Moroney Surprises Kenny Chesney With Epic End-Of-Tour Prank During “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy”
Kenny Chesney’s tourmate, Megan Moroney, delivered a hilarious surprise when he sang “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy” during a recent show.
Moroney has been touring with Chesney on his Sun Goes Down Tour this summer. The tour concludes on Sunday (August 25) after a three-night run at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts.
Oftentimes, tourmates will surprise each other with end-of-tour pranks. For example, in 2021, Runaway June pranked their tourmate Luke Bryan by pretending to fight onstage.
Or who could forget the time that Brad Paisley pranked Blake Shelton by sending a man onstage to dance around in a bumblebee costume during “Honey Bee” in 2011? You can watch the video below for a good laugh.
Moroney wanted to continue the funny end-of-tour tradition. So she planned an epic prank for her and Chesney’s first night at Gillette Stadium (August 23).
Throughout the tour, Moroney has joined Chesney onstage for his 1999 hit “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy.” That inspired the CMT Music Award winner’s prank, which involved her dressing up like Chesney and riding a toy tractor onstage.
What Did Kenny Chesney Think Of Megan’s Prank?
One video shared by a Megan Moroney fan account on TikTok shows the singer making her entrance. She drove a tiny green tractor, towing a small cart behind her with a miniature “No Shoes Nation Flag.”
Moroney was laughing so hard, she could barely sing.

The “Tennessee Orange” singer went all-out, tucking her hair up into a cowboy hat and donning an outfit that looks just like something Chesney would wear.
Moroney posted a behind-the-scenes video on TikTok to showcase her outfit. Of course, she set the clip to the tune of “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy.”

Chesney later reacted to the prank in a social media post of his own. He said:
“First night in Foxboro was full of energy, love, fun and suprises. @megmoroney came out on stage dressed as me and driving a toy tractor. God, we are going to miss her and her energy. Feels so great to be back in New England at @gillettestadium. Night two is tonight. Can’t wait. #SunGoesDownTour.“
Moroney commented on the post on Instagram, simply writing, “SHENANIGANS.”
