Miley Cyrus was featured as the surprise musical guest for Saturday Night Live at Home on an episode that aired on April 25, 2020.
During the episode, Miley performed an acoustic version of the Pink Floyd classic “Wish You Were Here.”
Sitting fireside on a patio, dressed in all black and adorned by the red glow of the flames, Miley performed a stripped-down version of the title track from their 1975 album.
“Wish You Were Here” was the ninth studio album from Pink Floyd and was released in September 1975 and peaked at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart.

This isn’t the first time Miley has elected to do a cover song instead of one of her own. Miley’s talent shines through, as she effortlessly takes on beloved songs, across multiple genres, and makes them uniquely her own.
Miley is a well-known pop star, however, she has proven her versatility by covering a variety of songs from various genres.
In 2012, Miley performed a cover of her godmother, Dolly Parton’s signature hit “Jolene” for “The Backyard Sessions.” Many people have credited Miley’s cover as one of the best versions they’ve heard.
Miley appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and performed a song written by Bob Dylan called “Baby, I’m in the Mood for You.” Miley was able to show off her talented vocal range in this incredible cover.
