One of the newest additions to the coaching panel on The Voice, Miley Cyrus used her appearance on The Tonight Show with host Jimmy Fallon to let viewers in on a little secret about TV’s favorites bromance! “They are actually insane,” Cyrus tells.
“It never stops. Even when the cameras are off, that is real! I always thought that was kind of, like, a thing they did on camera. No, it’s all day…” Cyrus explains to Fallon. Upon being asked what coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine do to set the other one off, Cyrus says,
“Adam loves to go ‘I’ll be your honey mustard… I’ll be your chicken wing,” turning Shelton’s hit song “Honey Bee” into a comical parody on food. However, Shelton is not one to go down without a fight. Cyrus goes on to paint a vivid picture of Shelton’s revenge of referring to Levine as nothing but an “Uber driver” in light of his intricate suits and appearance.
Calling the bromance battle “fantastic”, Fallon continues on by previewing a clip from a Voice episode in which Cyrus uses the ultimate guilt trip to send contestants flocking her way. Upon comparing a promising contestant’s performance to a past cover done by the fabulous Dolly Parton, Cyrus urged the contestant and audience to look at the overhead screen. Without skipping a beat, a video of Parton herself greeted audience members and gave them a offer they couldn’t refuse. With a big smile, Parton announces,
“Hey everybody! It’s Dolly, and you have just got to pick Miley because she’s my god-daughter!”
A shameless Cyrus is all grins as her fellow judges laugh and give their much deserved “wows”.
