Miranda Lamberts husband, Brendan McLoughlin, co-wrote a song on her new album
The highly decorated country singer has been married to former police officer Brendan McLoughlin since 2019. Prior to their relationship, Brendan had no experience creating music. However, it appears that his songstress wife’s musical talents have rubbed off on him.
Brendan is listed as a co-writer on “Dammit Randy,” the single that was released on June 28th. According to Miranda, her husband wrote “some of the greatest lines in the song.”
Miranda surprised him with the final recording of the song once it was cut. She recalls:
“He won’t say it, but he got a little misty-eyed. He was like, ‘You cut my song?’ It was awesome. And it’s one of my favorites on the record.”
