Phil Robertson’s Wife Makes Special Appearance In The First Episode Of Duck Dynasty: The Revival
On Sunday, June 1, the Robertson family returned to America’s television screens with the premiere of their new spin-off, Duck Dynasty: The Revival.
The show follows Willie Robertson, the CEO of Duck Commander, along with his wife and kids, who are familiar to viewers from the show’s original run.
Another familiar face that longtime fans saw in the debut episode was Willie’s mom, Kay “Miss Kay” Robertson.
It was the first time she had been on television since her husband and the head of the Robertson family, Phil Robertson, passed away.

Phil passed away on Sunday, May 25, at the age of 79 after fighting Alzheimer’s disease and a blood disorder.
Just days before the revival of Duck Dynasty, he was laid to rest in a private ceremony.

Miss Kay’s rare appearance in the first episode was filmed months before Phil’s health struggles. The first season of the series was filmed in late 2024. So the family does not talk about his passing in the episodes.
Miss Kay doesn’t appear on camera as often as most of the Robertson family members. But when it comes to family gatherings, she is sure to always be there.
In this episode, she joins the celebration for Rebecca Robertson Loflin and John Reed Loflin’s baby shower as they prepare to welcome their third child.
“Willie’s mom, Miss Kay, doesn’t live on our family property right now,” Korie Robertson, Willie Robertson’s wife, had said. “But, of course, when we have a baby shower or even just family dinner, she is always ready to stop by.”
She even took a moment to lead the family in prayer during the party.
“Father, we’re so grateful for everything you’ve done for us,” Miss Kay began. “Father, thank you for the precious little babies. They are just worth everything. I know they work us to death, and sometimes when they keep us up all night, we wonder why we have them. But in his name, we pray. Amen.”
Duck Dynasty: The Revival has already been renewed for a second season. That means fans can look forward to more special family moments like this one.
New episodes air every Sunday on the A&E channel. They are also available to stream on Hulu Live and Pluto TV.
