Wallen’s Three No. 1 Albums Bring Him To Total Of 39 Weeks At The Top

Morgan Wallen’s fourth album, I’m The Problem, is one of the biggest albums of 2025 so far, and it’s continuing to set records for the country star.

As of the week beginning on August 10, I’m The Problem has now spent 10 non-consecutive weeks as the No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart.

Touting 37 tracks, Wallen’s album was at the top for its first eight weeks on the chart, being briefly bested by new albums released by JackBoys and Travis Scott; and Tyler, the Creator.

Setting New Records

Since the week beginning on August 3, Wallen has been back at the top, bringing his latest album to No. 1 for 10 non-consecutive weeks.

Looking to his previous albums, Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album was the top album of 2021 for 10 weeks, and One Thing at a Time topped the chart for 19 non-consecutive weeks across 2023 and 2024.

Altogether, the 39 weeks at the top of the chart see Wallen now tied with Elton John as the male artist with the fourth-most weeks at the top of the Billboard 200.

Ahead of Wallen and John are Michael Jackson, with 51 weeks at the top; Garth Brooks, with 52 weeks at the top; and Elvis Presley, with 67 weeks at the top.

Just below Wallen and John, with 37 weeks at the top, are Harry Belafonte and Drake.

Further, there have only been six artists to have at least three albums at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for 10 weeks or more, with Wallen now among them. The other artists with at least three No. 1 albums to remain in the top slot of the Billboard 200 are The Beatles and Elvis Presley, with four each; and Whitney Houston, The Kingston Trio, and Taylor Swift, all with three albums achieving this feat.

These different statistics were tabulated by Billboard through its independent data provider, Luminate.
