The Country Singer Releases 2nd Music Video In Less Than A Month
The final stops on Morgan Wallen‘s I’m The Problem Tour were in Canada, with his shows on September 4 and 5 being in Toronto.
While there, Morgan revealed he had recently shot a music video for a song.
“I just made a music video for this song the other day,” said Morgan. “I think I, at least, smoked 20 of them during the making of it.”
Of course, this would be a reference to “20 Cigarettes” from his album I’m The Problem.
Notably, the May release of Morgan’s album I’m The Problem was not accompanied with any new music videos, with the country star instead releasing a series of live videos dubbed the “Shop Sessions.”
That changed on October 1, when the music video for “I Got Better” was released.

When Morgan shared that he had made this music video, he had just concluded a nearly two-week break from his tour at the end of August.
During that time, he shared on social media that he had an “interesting bye week,” posting a photo of himself covered in cuts and scrapes while atop a dirt bike.
While the dirt bike never surfaced, we know now that Morgan shot the blood-stained music video for “I Got Better” during this gap in his concert schedule.
That music video was likely shot back to back with the music video for “20 Cigarettes,” and it will be interesting to see if the video starts where “I Got Better” left off.
In the “I Got Better” music video, Wallen crawls out from the fiery wreckage of his flipped over black pickup truck. As he walks down a long country road, his cuts and bruises are healed in the falling rain. With each step he takes, he gets a little stronger.
By the end of the music video, all is restored to the way it once was, including his pickup truck. Sitting in the truck, he then lights a cigarette in the dark of night.
On October 17, Morgan announced that the “20 Cigarettes” music video would be released on October 20.
Sharing a movie poster for the music video, it features the lyrics “we tore off to light the night we had left” as a tagline.
It also sports a pair of laurels akin to the ones seen on posters for films that have a film festival premiere, but with the words “official music video” and “starring Morgan Wallen” being cradled within.
The music video will be released at 2 p.m. EST on October 20.
