“Wasn’t no tellin’ who I’d turn into, but it turns out, me and you together’s why it took so long, ’cause I got better since you got gone.”
Remember that photo Morgan Wallen shared of himself all scraped up on a dirt bike?
Well, it turns out that many fans were right, as the scrapes and ripped up jeans were for a music video.
As for the dirt bike? That was likely just for fun.
On Wednesday, October 1, Morgan Wallen released a music video for “I Got Better,” which is the second track from his chart-topping 2025 album I’m The Problem. This is his first music video to release since the album came out in May, which only saw the artist release live videos of himself performing some tracks.
The sleek music video, shot on a rain-soaked country road, uses visual metaphors to convey the meaning of the lyrics.

Watch The Music Video For “I Got Better”
The music video for “I Got Better” opens on Morgan Wallen returning to consciousness under the wreckage of a flipped over truck. Between licks of flame, the woman can be seen leaving the scene of the crash.
Covered in cuts, scrapes, and bruises, Morgan gets up as a gentle rain — as gentle as the guitar in the song — begins to fall.
Morgan begins to walk from the wreckage, a symbol of a failed relationship. With each step he takes, he gets stronger.
His wounds begin healing, with blood shown retreating back into the wounds before they vanish entirely from his skin.
By the end of the video, all is restored … even the truck.
