Olivia Newton-John’s widower, John Easterling, has listed their California estate for sale
Beloved actress Olivia Newton-John spent the end of her life at her beautiful ranch in Santa Ynez, California, before she tragically passed away from breast cancer in 2022. Nearly two years later, the estate has now been listed for sale at $8.9 million.
The four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom western ranch-style house sits on 12 peaceful acres named Indian Way Ranch. It is one of only a few properties in the picturesque area with frontage on the Santa Ynez River.
The expansive property boasts a combined 4,450 sq. ft. across multiple structures. Easterling told PEOPLE:
“Olivia and I made many wonderful memories at our home in Florida and the ranch in California. The message that keeps coming through so clearly is to love life, live life, and never forget about the good things that are going on.”
The home features a gourmet cooks kitchen, an open-concept great room, custom windows and doors, as well as an office and game room.
The couple purchased the property in 2015 and, according to their real estate agent, “searched extensively” before deciding the serene property was the spot for them. Easterling revealed:
“Besides some of the personal effects that Chloe and I are keeping, many of Olivia‘s treasures will be sold at a Julien’s Auctions later this year.”
He added that the proceeds from the auction will go to the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, which is dedicated to sponsoring global research into plant medicine for cancer.
