“The Traler Park” Reunites For Rowdy New Song
Six friends and talented country music artists known as “The Traler Park” have reunited to bring fans a new summer anthem. The group includes Jamey Johnson, Rob Hatch, Lee Brice, Randy Houser, Jerrod Niemann, and Dallas Davidson.
Lee Brice began teasing the new song two weeks ago, revealing each of the all-star collaborators one by one. “Coming soon to traler park near you,” he wrote.
Jamey Johnson Tells The Story Of “The Traler Park”
In the early 2000s, all six artists were cutting their teeth in the Nashville music industry. They quickly developed a bond and “banded together” as they each faced challenges and searched for their big break.
In a recent interview, Jamey Johnson described the group as “powerhouse” and said anytime 3-4 of them got together for a gig, the venue would be “filled up and sold out.”
The “In Color” singer was the first from the group to get a record deal but, as he pointed out, he is the eldest. The musicians were not sure which of them would and would get an opportunity in Nashville, as many were “too country” for radio at the time.
Jamey reveals that his 2006 debut album The Dollar was all songs from “The Traler Park.”
Jamey Johnson reminisces about “The Traler Park” in the video below.
