It seems that Gwen Stefani can’t manage to keep The Voice off her mind!
The three-time coach, who will not be returning next season, loves her job so much that she brings it home with her! In a funny skit aired during the finale, where Team Alicia’s Chris Blue was named the winner, she revealed that she has been more invested in this season than ever before.
“This season I’ve been so committed to ‘The Voice’,” she said. “Some people might even say I take my work home.”
The video cut to her on a date with boyfriend and fellow coach Blake Shelton, with her sitting in her red Voice chair at dinner.
“I think Gwen really needs to find some outside interests,” Shelton said in a confessional.
Defending herself, she tells the camera that she loves to garden and meditate. Supporting footage shows her doing those things – in her red chair!
Although she did give her all this season, she unfortunately didn’t have any contestants in the finale. She cheered on Team Blake’s Lauren and Aliyah, Team Alicia’s Chris and Team Adam’s Jesse, and consoled Shelton when he didn’t take home his 6th victory.
