Tuesday’s (May 7) episode of The Voice saw three singers eliminated, but it also was filled with exciting performances.
One of those performances was from Voice coach Reba McEntire!
Shortly after Monday night’s (May 6) episode aired, McEntire announced she would be performing a brand-new song titled “I Can’t.”
She announced by writing, “#ICant wait to perform my new song on The Voice tomorrow night! You can pre-save it now on your favorite streaming service.”
When the time came for Reba to perform “I Can’t,” the audience was loving every second of it.
Reba delivered a compelling performance on stage, set against a desert-themed backdrop with cacti and subtle smoke effects. As she sang, “As soon as the rain starts slowing down,” the backdrop darkened and simulated rain began to fall, enhancing the visual experience.
Dressed in a simple yet stylish all-black attire with a fringed jacket and a prominent belt buckle, Reba effortlessly captivated the audience. Her performance resonated with fans, who showed their appreciation in the comments section of the full video posted by The Voice.
“And that’s why she is the Queen.”
“Wow!!! Truly a master class!”
“Reba knows she can knock it outta the park every time!!! I love her new song!”
“Was amazing!! The outfit! The atmosphere! Just a total blessing!!!”
This performance comes just one week before she hosts the ACM Awards for the 17th time.
On May 16, McEntire will take the stage at the host of the 59th Annual ACM Awards in Frisco, Texas.

When her role as host was first announced, she said, “I am tickled to pieces to get to host the ACM Awards for the 17th time! What an honor to have been part of the past, present and now the future of the Academy of Country Music with Amazon Prime Video. I can’t wait to get to Texas and see everybody May 16th!”
On social media, she revealed that she will be performing “brand new music” during the ACMs, which had fans freaking out!
