Riley Green brings out a surprise guest during his performance at The Music City Grand Prix
On Saturday, September 14th, country heartthrob Riley Green performed at the Music City Grand Prix, an annual Indycar event that occurs just outside of Nashville each year. During his set, he surprised the crowd when he welcomed special guest Lily Pearl Black to the stage to join him for a few songs.
Lily Pearl is the 23-year-old daughter of country music icon Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black. Just like her parents, the talented young woman is pursuing a career in country music.

Lily Pearl’s country star parents recorded a hit love song in the late 90s
“When I Say I Do” was written by Clint Black and recorded with his wife Lisa as a duet in 1999. The song, which centers around a lifelong commitment to love, topped both the US and Canadian country charts. Additionally, it became a crossover hit when it peaked at number 31 on the Billboard 100 all-genre chart.

Riley and Lily Pearl performed what Riley calls “one of the best love songs ever written.” He joked that they had “almost” practiced the song together before diving into their rendition of “When I Say I Do.” The pair harmonized beautifully together during the impromptu performance.
