Country Stars React To Viral Coldplay Kiss Cam Moment
It hasnโt even been a week since the moment the CEO of Astronomer and the woman heโs allegedly having an affair with were caught on a kiss cam at a Coldplay concert, but the incident has been seen by all.
Taking place on Wednesday, July 16, at Coldplayโs show in Foxborough, MA, the moment has not only circulated online, but has now been parodied and joked about at other entertainment events over the weekend.
Whether it was sporting events, like baseball games, or even at other concerts, the event has become a meme playing out in real life.
Notably, many country acts โ such as Luke Bryan and Morgan Wallen โ have since alluded to the kiss cam debacle, delighting fans between songs.
Background Of Viral Moment
When the British rock band Coldplayโs stadium tour, Music of The Spheres World Tour, came to the Gillette stadium in Massachusetts, no one couldโve expected that the biggest news from their show would have nothing to do with music.
When Andy Byron, the CEO of tech company Astronomer, was caught on a kiss cam at the show with the companyโs HR executive, Kristin Cabot, the two evaded the eye of the camera.
Ducking out of frame and turning away, the two were caught on the Jumbotron by a Coldplay fan in the audience who had been filming the concertโs screen.

After that moment exploded online, Astronomer responded by conducting an investigation and placing Andy on leave.
By July 19, Andy had submitted his resignation, with the tech company writing:
As stated previously, Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met.

Morgan Wallen, who is presently on a stadium tour of his own in support of his new album, Iโm The Problem, had a different approach to the incident while in Glendale, AZ on July 18.
โAnybody with their โฆ side chick or whatever?โ Morgan asked between songs. โI think youโre safe here.โ
He then added, with a significant pause, โI donโt condone cheating โฆ anymore.โ

The audience reaction was big, and Russell shared an edited video including the original viral moment on his TikTok:
