Katelyn Brown Left Speechless Over Husband Kane’s Anniversary Surprise
Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn, celebrated their seventh anniversary on Sunday. The couple married on October 12, 2018, at the Mint Springs Farm in Tennessee.
Footage from their wedding was featured in a special music video Kane released for his song “Good As You.”
Kane and Katelyn have since welcomed three beautiful children: Kingsley, Kodi, and Krewe. In addition to raising their family, the couple also sings together. They released their first duet, “Thank God,” in 2022.
“Thank God” reached #1 on the Country Airplay chart and crossed over to claim the 13th spot on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100. The song has since been certified 3x Platinum by the RIAA.
The music video for “Thank God” won the CMT Music Award for Video of the Year in 2023. Kane and Katelyn performed the song live at the ceremony and have continued singing it together on tour.
Since releasing “Thank God,” Kane and Katelyn have dropped two other duets, “Body Talk” and “Do Us Apart.”
Despite their busy lives, Kane and Katelyn still found the time to pause and enjoy their anniversary together. Later that evening, Katelyn shared a video showcasing the super romantic way Kane surprised her for their anniversary.
Kane had a whole setup in what appeared to be their home basketball court. He decorated a walkway with curtains and candles and sprinkled red rose petals on the floor.
Katelyn was speechless, only letting out a few giggles as she followed the rose petal path to a table where Kane stood, dancing with a glass of wine in his hand. “Happy anniversary, babe,” he said with a smile.
“I cannot get over the anniversary surprise he just pulled off…. Wow,” Katelyn captioned the clip, which you can watch below.
Kane And Katelyn’s Hit Duet “Thank God” Has Inspired A New Christmas Movie
Kane and Katelyn celebrated their seventh anniversary shortly after it was announced that their duet, “Thank God,” is being turned into a movie. The affectionate duet is inspiring an upcoming Lifetime Christmas film!
The Browns will not star in the movie, but they are serving as executive producers.
“The song ‘Thank God’ is so special to us,” Kane and Katelyn said in a statement provided to Billboard. “We love performing it on stage and it’s incredible how it’s connected to so many fans. We also really love Christmas and celebrating as a family. So for these two worlds to collide, we couldn’t be more excited!“
Titled Thank God: Christmas at Keller Ranch, the film will star Arielle Kebbel and Tyler Hilton. Hilton plays an injured hockey player who does his therapy at the Keller Ranch. Kebbel’s character is a single mom who works at the ranch as an equestrian-assisted therapist.
