Star-Studded Jerry Lee Lewis Tribute Show Announced

The online music series Skyville Live has certainly become a groundbreaking way for country music fans to see raw, live performances from their favorite artists from the comfort of their own home.

According to their website, “Skyville Live features live performances by some of the world’s greatest artists spanning generations and musical genres. Each episode is recorded with full HD video in front of an intimate studio audience in Nashville, Tennessee and live-streamed around the world. Some of the biggest names in music today have appeared on the program since its debut in January 2015.”

Martina McBride, Emmylou Harris, Kris Kristofferson, Gregg Allman, Little Big Town, Steve Earle, and Little Big Town are just a few of the singers who have stopped by to perform for the series.

Skyville Live has just announced that the next episode will be a tribute to the legendary Jerry Lee Lewis.

“Jerry Lee Lewis is an American treasure and we’re beyond thrilled to welcome him to Skyville Live,” series creator Wally Wilson said in a statement, according to Nash Country Daily. “We have some truly amazing artists lined up to play alongside and salute this living legend.”

So far, Chris Stapleton and Lee Ann Womack are on the bill, but more special guests are promised. The episode will be filmed in front of a live studio audience on August 24, and streamed at a later date.
