Simon Cowell has made it clear he’s not always a big fan of animal acts on America’s Got Talent. So he was a bit skeptical when 11-year-old Zoe took to the stage with one of her pet chickens.
That skepticism soon faded away as Zoe led her chicken over and through a series of obstacles. Their routine was set to the tune of “Footloose” by Kenny Loggins.
After the chicken performed some tricks, a second chicken emerged from under one of the obstacles. Zoe then led the fluffy bird through its own set of obstacles. They eventually made their way over to two signs, which the fluffy chicken pulled down to display the words. The signs introduced a bunch of other chickens, who form the “Bock and Roll Band.”
The original two chickens joined their feathered friends and in a musical grand finale. Those chickens jammed out together on a piano, while other chickens played guitar, drums, bongos, and chimes.

All of the judges were visibly impressed with the Bock and Roll Band’s performance. Once they wrapped up, judge Howie Mandel said, “There are no words. I’ve never seen anything like that…”
Even Cowell had a compliment to share, saying, “…you come on with your chickens, and they did everything right. It’s incredible.”
Zoe and the Bock and Roll Band ended up earning “yes” votes from all four of the judges. Those yeses were well-deserved!
