When it comes to the CMA Awards, country stars always dress to the nines for what has been dubbed as “country music’s biggest night.” But with this year being the 50th anniversary, the stars really went all out with their outfits.
There were so many stunning looks on this year’s red carpet, that it was a challenge to pick our favorites. But we finally managed to narrow it down to the top ten looks of the night from country music’s guys and gals! Click the button below to take your own personal walk down the CMA red carpet.
1. Cam
Cam made sure to include her signature yellow color in her CMA gown, which reminded us of a desert sunset. Seems fitting, since Cam was recently married in the California desert.
Plus, can we just say that we LOVE what she did with her hair?
2. Maren Morris
Maren Morris was the golden girl of the night in her dazzling CMA gown. She was already a standout artist because of her many nominations, but this dress really made sure that everyone’s eyes were on her!
3. Tanya Tucker
Tanya Tucker made a grand entrance on the CMA red carpet! With her beautiful black dress and her sparkling statement necklace, we can’t pick what we liked most about her look. So we’ll just say that we loved it all!
4. Easton Corbin
Normally it’s the gals who get the most attention on the CMA red carpet, but Easton Corbin was one of the artists who turned the most heads with his red carpet look. Just look at that dark green suit jacket!
5. Raelynn
Raelynn may not have won her season of The Voice, but she definitely won our hearts with her red carpet gown. From the flowing skirt to the details on the front of the dress, everything about her look was stunning!
6. Scotty McCreery
Looking sharp Scotty!
The “Five More Minutes” singer donned a black tux with a slight Western detail…now that’s country!
7. Thomas Rhett
Thomas Rhett looked quite dapper in his black tux, and his look was made all the more complete with his beautiful date…his wife, Lauren. These two never fail to amaze us with their red carpet looks, and they blew us away yet again this year!
8. Reba McEntire
As always, Reba McEntire took command of the red carpet, and it’s easy to see why. She may have experienced an infamous moment in CMA when she wore her now-iconic red dress, but we have a feeling this dress will go down in history as well!
9. Frankie Ballard
The “Sunshine & Whiskey” singer was shining bright on the CMA red carpet, courtesy of his sparkly tux. Every way he turned, Frankie’s tux glistened and gleamed, and we couldn’t look away!
10. Carrie Underwood
Carrie Underwood had been teasing her looks on her Instagram account for days leading up to the CMAs, but no one was prepared for the stunner of a gown that she wore on the red carpet. She said her dress was going to be “girly, princess-y and pretty,” and we fully agree that she looked like a princess in her gorgeous gown!
