Tim McGraw Closes Out A Memorable 2025

In June 2025, Tim McGraw performed his first live show in just under a year due to back-to-back major surgeries. During a podcast interview on the Bobby Bones Show, McGraw revealed he had spent most of the year recovering. After touring, the singer shared he had to get a double knee replacement.

The “Something Like That” singer said he was “in the process of recovering from my knee surgeries, my back went out again and I had to have another back surgery.”

McGraw then played everywhere from Nashville to Michigan. He later announced on October 3, that he would soon be coming to Las Vegas!

“Vegas!! I’m coming to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace this December 4–13!,” McGraw shared with fans.

McGraw took over performing on some of the dates Dolly Parton was expected to be at Caesar’s Palace, but cancelled due to unforeseen health challenges.

The “My Best Friend” Singer Releases New Music

After a rough year battlings multiple injuries, it seems things are looking up for McGraw in 2026. In December, he hinted at new music coming soon!

The “Something Like That” singer took to Instagram to share a clip of himself performing a brand-new, unreleased song titled “Different.”

The clip shows McGraw sitting on stage as he sings the lyrics, which appeared to be an inspiring, faith-filled message. In the video’s caption, he wrote, “In this world right now, this message has never been more relevant and true.”

Then, on January 26, McGraw, along with Eric ChurchHARDY, and Morgan Wallen, released a new track called “McArthur.”

In the song “McArthur,” the four country artists each sing from the perspective of a different character, with every verse beginning as the artist introduces themselves as one of the characters, or the “McArthurs.”
