The National Medal Of Honor Museum Just Had Its Grand Opening

According to its Instagram, the museum was built in Arlington, Texas, “to commemorate the stories of our nation’s Medal of Honor heroes.”

Lee Greenwood appeared at the Grand Opening to perform his iconic patriotic hit “God Bless The USA.”
To celebrate the occasion, Greenwood shared some photos from the special night, writing, “Humbled to be in the room with 30 Medal of Honor recipients at the opening of the Medal of Honor Museum – truly rarified air. I proudly sang my song, God Bless The USA, in tribute to those who exemplify courage, honor and bravery at the highest level. I continue to be in awe of their super human strength, their focus on others before self and their sacrifice for America!”

The Night Ended With A Fireworks Show Set To Toby Keith’s “American Soldier”
As a huge supporter of the troops and our veterans, you just know that if he were still alive, Toby Keith would have been in attendance. The museum made sure to include him in a very special way.

To end the night, there was a “drone and fireworks show that featured all the living Presidents as well as our military’s orchestras and choirs performing ‘American Soldier’ with an amazing vocal from Toby recorded a few years ago that gave everyone chills. It was a touching tribute to those who went above and beyond the call of duty.”
A clip of the firework and drone show was shared to Toby Keith’ official social media accounts. Watch that video below.
