Trisha Yearwood Performs A Fun Holiday Classic

Trisha took to the stage to perform an upbeat rendition of “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.” Originally composed for the 1966 film Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas, the piece has since attained the status of a holiday standard.

The timing was fitting for Trisha, as last month she released her holiday album Christmastime, which includes her recorded version of “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch,” along with other versions of holiday classics including “Candy Cane Lane” and Elvis Presley’s “Blue Christmas.”

The album also features an original holiday song, “Merry Christmas, Valentine,” written and recorded by Trisha in collaboration with her husband and country star, Garth Brooks.

Christmastime marks Trisha’s first holiday album since her 2016 Christmas Together, which she also recorded alongside her husband.
