Noah Peters, also known as “The Singing Barber,” had the opportunity of a lifetime when he got to perform Randy Travis songs for the country legend himself.
In a video shared on Instagram, Noah Peters, a Tennessee native known for blending his barbering skills with his passion for music, surprised Randy Travis with a performance of two of Travis’ hit songs.
The video starts with country singer Drew Parker chatting with Travis. In a playful tone, Parker turns to him and says, “Randy… man, I hate to say this, but I think we need to go get you a haircut. You cool with that?”
This made Travis laugh, quickly responding with a firm “no.”
Although Travis wasn’t up for a spontaneous haircut, he was open to meeting the person Parker had brought for the job. That’s when Noah Peters walked in, ready to perform for the music icon.

With Parker on guitar, he and Peters teamed up to sing Travis’ 1987 hit “Forever and Ever, Amen,” while Travis listened to their acoustic rendition and even joined in to sing the last line.
But that wasn’t all. In another video, captioned “There’s more where that came from,” Peters performs Randy Travis’ newly released song “Where That Came From.”

About Randy Travis’ “Where That Came From”
Randy Travis made his return to the spotlight with his brand-new song “Where That Came From,” released earlier this spring. This marked his first release since 2013, when a severe stroke nearly took his life.
After his major stroke, Travis faced significant challenges with his singing and speaking abilities. But he hasn’t let that stop him from doing what he loves.
Over the years, he has focused on sharing some of his old recordings, including the album Influence, Vol. 2: The Man I Am in 2014, which featured mostly covers recorded before his stroke. Now, with the help of advanced A.I. technology to bring his voice back to the recording studio, fans can once again hear Travis in his new original recording.
