He Forgot The Ring, But He Still Got The Girl

“She Makes” by country artist Zach Top is all about how the Lord can bless someone with the perfect partner.
Now, a few months after the song was released on Zach’s second album, Ain’t In It For My Health, it’s now getting tested out in the wild as a new love song staple.
On November 7, Zach’s Cold Beer & Country Music Fall Tour 2025 made its way to Bismarck, North Dakota, and a couple was brought up on stage for a proposal that will not be soon forgotten.
In a video posted to TikTok by an attendee of the concert, whose username is LindyVision, we can see Jayce Lee guiding his longterm girlfriend, Olivia Retterath, up to the stage as Zach performs “She Makes.”
Upon getting to the microphone, Zach steps back to let Jayce profess his love with a very important question.
Right from the start, Jayce looks to Zach, and says, “Zach, you play some great music, man.”
He then turns his attention to his girlfriend, getting a little help from Zach with the microphone, as well as some guiding down to one knee at one point.
“Look, Olivia, my idiot self didn’t bring a ring tonight,” Jayce said. “This is pretty spur-of-the-moment, but you’ve made me the happiest man for the past four years, and I want to make you the happiest woman for the rest of my life.”
Getting down one knee, he then asked, “Would you do me the honor of being my wife?”
Upon hearing this, the crowd went wild, and they embraced one another. Jayce then made sure to seal the deal with a kiss.

In his post on social media about their engagement, Jayce did reveal that he got Olivia a ring, declaring that she is the “most amazing person [he’s] ever met.”
He added a shoutout to Zach as well, parenthetically writing, “Thank you so much Zach for the extra help!”
