Where Are “Nashville” Stars Lennon & Maisy Now?

LionsgateTV / YouTube

In 2012, a show by the name of Nashville took the world by storm. It starred Connie Britton as the current “Queen of Country Music,” Rayna Jaymes, who is starting a new chapter to her career and teams up with a hot, young up and comer named Juliette Barnes, played by Hayden Panettiere.

Over the five seasons it was on ABC, the show followed the lives of Jaymes, Barnes, and several other country singers, their relationships and careers before it was canceled at the end of Season 5. Fans were not pleased by ABC’s decision and launched a social media campaign.

CMT heard their cries, and picked up the show for Season 6, but announced before the seventh season premiere that it would be coming to an end. This time, fans seemed okay with it since they were given proper warning.

While most of the cast were adults when the show started, there are two actresses who were just thirteen and nine years of age when the pilot aired – real-life sisters Lennon and Maisy Stella.

They showed off their talents on the show, which helped them launch their own music careers.

Lennon and Maisy, now 22 and 17 respectively, have grown up right in front of our eyes, and we seriously can’t believe how different they look from when we first met them years ago! And they are flourishing in their careers as well!

Lennon has found success as a solo artist and signed a record deal with Columbia Records in 2018. Shortly after her signing, she was a featured artist on the song “Polaroid” by Jonas Blue and Liam Payne.

On November 16, 2018, Lennon released her debut solo EP titled Love, Me and not long after, she collaborated with The Chainsmokers for the song “Takeaway.”

In April 2020, Lennon released her first full-length studio album titled Three. Two. One. It reached the Top Ten in her native Canada and charted in Australia, New Zealand, Scotland, The UK, and United States. She also contributed to the soundtrack of the movie Scoob! with a collaboration with Charlie Puth entitled “Summer Feelings.”

Lennon is very active on social media, posting lots of videos of her singing and playing guitar.

Younger sister Maisy is also branching out on her own, releasing her debut solo song “Riding Free,” which was included in the series Spirit Riding Free.

Maisy also is active on social media and posts videos of her playing music.
