30-year-old Rebecca Dyas and her 36-year-old partner Gearoid Magfheargail had just finished attending a Garth Brooks concert when Rebecca went into labor and gave birth to her baby daughter, Bonnie.
The couple said they had the tickets for the “Friends in Low Places” superstar’s sell-out Dublin concert at Croke Park on Sunday, September 11th, which was eight days before her due date, September 19th.
Rebecca and Gearoid say they are convinced that it was the country superstar’s singing that brought Rebecca into early labor.
“I did feel a few pains during the concert but I was so into the music and being there that I didn’t think much of it as I wasn’t due for over another week,” Rebecca said in an exclusive interview with this Irish Mirror.
She said her car was parked half an hour away from the concert and it took her an hour to get back to her vehicle because she was struggling.
