Kelly Reilly revealed in an interview that her Yellowstone relationship might come to an end before the end of the show.
Reilly, famous for the show Yellowstone, constitutes one half of a beloved television couple. The British actor’s character, Beth Dutton, finally married Rip Wheeler at the end of season 4 after a long history of dating and breaking up on the show. Reilly has Yellowstone fans on edge following a recent interview. In a behind-the-scenes featurette for Yellowstone’s season 5, she hints that her beloved TV relationship might not make it to the end.
“Beth is haunted by her past,” says Reilly. “She has a lot of regrets, and she has a lot of secrets that he doesn’t know. So there is something that is under the surface that will one day, I’m sure, come, and she’s probably certain that she will lose him.”

Reilly shares she disagrees with the direction the show takes Beth Dutton.
Reilly goes on to say she sometimes disagrees with Taylor Sheridan, Yellowstone co-creator and writer, about the direction of Beth Dutton.
“I’m coming to it almost the same as the audience,” Reilly shares. “I mean, I have my hopes and thoughts for the character. Also, as I’ve played her for over five years now, I feel like I know her so well, but I’m still learning. There are still things that I read and I didn’t expect, or sometimes I wish for something else for her, but that’s the same as the audience,” she adds.
“We’re all sort of beholden to the vision of the storyteller and we serve the story. Who knows what’s going to happen? I find that exciting as an actor.”
Yellowstone is said to be ending after Season 5.
Yellowstone will sadly come to an end after the upcoming season is released as Kevin Costner will be leaving the show and John Dutton, his character, will supposedly die. Season 5 was supposed to air this summer (2023), but it has been pushed back by Paramount due to contract negotiations with Costner, and strikes from the Hollywood writers and actors meaning the rest of the season likely won’t air until 2024.
