Summer Rios has gone viral after her performance of Zach Bryan’s “Something in the Orange” on America’s Got Talent.
Zach Bryan recently made history when his hit song, “Something in the Orange,” became the longest-charting song on the Billboard Hot 100 this century. This original song, released in April of 2022, was written and recorded by Zach Bryan. “Something in the Orange” was the second single he released from his album American Heartbreak, and it quickly became his claim to fame. While he has many great songs, “Something in the Orange” was Zach Bryan’s first song to end up on the Billboard Hot 100. Not only did it make the chart, it ended up making the top 10 at one point! The song steadily made the Top 100 for 65 weeks making it the longest run for a country song on the Hot 100 chart this century.

Summer Rios, a manager at Pizza Hut, did an amazing cover of “Something in the Orange” on America’s Got Talent.
The 19-year-old was working at Pizza Hut with her ex-boyfriend whom she hoped wasn’t watching the audition. When Simon Cowell asked what she would say to him if he was, she answered, “Hello? I hope you’re doing good, I guess? No, not really.”
“Now it’s just me, so I’m working a lot of morning-to-closes, trying to still pay my bills and stuff,” Summer continued. “I’m hoping this will get me out of pizza cutting and pizza making.”
Summer’s viral rendition of “Something in the Orange” has already raked in 4.3 million views on YouTube in less than two weeks. One special viewer being none other than Zach Bryan himself who even commented on the performance. Bryan commented on AGT’s TikTok video and said, “You sang this so much more beautifully than I ever could, thank you and it’s yours now.”
