An unexpected turn of events led to Lainey Wilson stepping into the spotlight in the place of Luke Bryan after he cancelled at the last minute due to sickness. Lainey Wilson, already familiar with large audiences due to her recent tour with Luke Combs, fully embraced the opportunity and delivered a truly captivating show.

While gearing up for this impromptu performance, Lainey Wilson managed to find time for an interview with radio host Gabe Mercer. This interview yielded a series of video clips that covered a wide variety of topics. Of all of the topics discussed, one conversation stood out—details concerning the popular show, Yellowstone.
Wilson was asked, “What was the biggest surprise about being on Yellowstone?”
Lainey paused for a second before revealing she has never met Kevin Costner.
“I never got to meet Kevin Costner…I’m still waiting to meet Kevin!”

Even though the script didn’t include any direct interactions between Wilson’s character, Abby, and Costner’s character, numerous scenes showcased them within a larger group or in close proximity.

Given Costner’s love for country music, it’s shocking the renowned actor and country music star haven’t met. It’s mind-blowing that their paths never crossed even for a simple handshake and introduction.
Despite the ongoing break in filming for the latter half of the fifth season, we still have something to look forward to—Maybe these two stars will cross paths when filming resumes.
