Country Music Stars Open Bars Across The Country

Many of country music’s biggest names are opening their own bars. While a number of them have opened in Nashville and completely transformed the city’s downtown, many are popping up in popular areas across the country.

From Jason Aldean’s Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar, to Lainey Wilson’s Bell Bottoms Up, these bars have not only become a hit tourist attraction, but quite a business venture for the artists.

So, it comes as no shock that country star Zac Brown is joining the list and opening his very own bar and music venue. However, the “Chicken Fried” singer is opening his in a unique location – at sea!

Zac Brown To Open New Bar At Sea

Brown announced he is partnering with Margaritaville at Sea to create a unique live‑music venue onboard their upcoming cruise ship, the Beachcomber.

The ship, which used to sail as Costa Fortuna with Costa Cruises, is getting a fresh new look as Beachcomber, the biggest ship yet in the Margaritaville at Sea fleet. “Same Boat,” will be featured on the ship as a Zac Brown-inspired venue named after his 2021 hit with Jimmy Buffett.

“When we started talking about this partnership, I knew I didn’t just want to design a room — I wanted to create an experience that truly captures the spirit of Margaritaville at Sea,” Brown said.

Same Boat will be the ship’s biggest music venue, with Brown aiming to bring that classic “Margaritaville” vibe to life.

“Designing Same Boat has been about bringing that easygoing energy that’s always guided my music to life. Every detail reflects pieces of my own journey — from the stage to the sea — all coming together to create a place where people can connect, share a drink, listen to great music, and feel that incredible sense of freedom you only find at a show or out on the open water. That’s my kind of medicine.”

John Cohlan, CEO of Margaritaville at Sea, said Brown was the ideal choice to bring the music venue to life, thanks to his relationship with Jimmy Buffett.

“Zac has long been a member of the Margaritaville family and had a special relationship with Jimmy over many years. This partnership celebrates that legacy and will bring to life yet another reason to cruise on the “Same Boat” with Margaritaville at Sea,” Cohlan said.

The Beachcomber is set to start cruising from Miami in January 2027.
