Nominated For Five CMA Awards, Zach Top Performed His Song “Guitar” At The Ceremony

“Yeah, nothin’ kick starts my heart like guitar.”

Performing “Guitar,” which is the opening track on his second album, Zach Top performed on a stage in the shape of a neon guitar.

Joined by his regular backup vocalist, Cheyenne Dalton Meyer, Zach was in top form, plucking away at his acoustic and never missing a note. An artist with a smile, he had many in the audience smiling along with the song, as well, including members of Lady A.

The 28-year-old country artist is notably nominated for five CMA Awards, including Male Vocalist of the Year and New Artist of the Year.

Further, his debut album, Cold Beer & Country Music, is nominated for Album of the Year, and the song “I Never Lie” is nominated for both Single of the Year and Song of the Year.

Shortly after his performance, with a can of Coors Banquet in hand, Zach accepted his first ever CMA Award: New Artist of the Year.

This is Zach Top’s second time being nominated for New Artist of the Year, as he was also nominated in that category at the 58th CMAs in 2024.

Back in April at the 60th ACM Awards, Zach Top won the award for New Male Artist.
