We all know Sadie Robertson from the hit reality show Duck Dynasty. She has lived the majority of her teen years in the spotlight thanks to the show and her stint on Dancing With The Stars, where she finished in second place.
She’s grown into a wonderful human being who gives back not only in her community, but also to the world through her Roma Boots line. For every pair of boots purchased, one pair is given to a child in need in a third world country. Robertson is passionate about her Faith and decided to forgo college to go on tour with some of her family members to spread the word of God to young people just like them!
She is unapologetically herself, and has never conformed to what society, other people, or even Internet trolls tell her to do. We could go on and on about how great Sadie is, which is why we compiled a list of the 5 times she was our favorite human being! Let’s take a look!
1. When She Peed From Laughing So Hard, And Still Uploaded The Video
Sadie joined the ever-popular Christian tour Winter Jam in 2017 and made fast friends with a girl named Laney. Together, they learned a dance from the Tina Fey and Amy Poehler movie Sisters and decided to upload their version of it to Sadie’s YouTube channel.
Problem was, Sadie started bursting out laughing in the middle of it and peed her pants a little! She figured her fans could relate to having moments like this, so she uploaded the video anyway!

In a promo for the final season of Duck Dynasty, Sadie agrees to teach her aunt and uncle, Jase and Missy, how to dance for their son Reed’s wedding, and her parents, Willie and Korie, tagged along as well.
As we all know, Sadie is a great dancer, but she definitely learned those skills – they were not inherited.
In the dance lesson, she asked her dad to show her what he was working with so she started doing all these crazy, and sometimes made up, dance moves.
“No, Dad, no!” Sadie screams at one point. “Just stop!”
Through laughter, Korie tells the group, “This is why we don’t go dancing very often.”
This moment proves that she is just like us when it comes to your dad being embarrassing!
3. When She Was Super Real About Her Past
We all have a past, but we don’t have to live our lives in the public eye. Sadie has gone through a couple breakups in the past year, among other things, and before she went on stage at Winter Jam one night, she thought about a bible verse where a group of people were in a boat during a terrible storm and God told them to stay strong because they would make it, but their boat would not.
In a very brave YouTube video, Sadie revealed that she is still struggling with emotions from her past because she never dealt with it.
“I was in this really bad time in my life, very painful. And coming from that and hiding that in my heart, I would pray for my future. I would pray for things to get better and I don’t know, I would pray for the future, but I never stopped to pray for the healing of my hurt in the past,” she said with tears forming.
“And now, I have this future, but I have this past, and that hurt is catching up to it because I didn’t deal with it,” she continued. “I’m gonna be okay because God is good and God is faithful, and I’m gonna be okay, but maybe some of that didn’t make it along the way. Because I didn’t necessarily let it all go. I’m glad that I see it now. To walk with the Spirit in peace, you have to be willing to let it all go and I was not willing to do that.”
Many of her fans were extremely thankful she posted the video and spoke from her heart, because they are going through the same thing. Even when she is her most vulnerable, she is a role model to others!
4. When She Took A Break From Social Media

In a move that saddened most of her fans, Sadie took to Instagram in April to announce that she would be taking a break from social media.
“Life is crazy right now and I just kind of feel like I need to take a step away from social media, at least for a few months,” she said. “I just need to get away and just really focus on my life and just invest in my friendships, invest in my family, and invest in my relationship with the Lord.”
Promising to be back on social media on her 20th birthday, which is June 11, Sadie said, “I’m gonna keep my eyes off the screen and on the streets, and I just want to let you know I am sad about it and I do love y’all and I love getting to know y’all and staying in touch.”
In the meantime, her team has been running her social sites, keeping fans updated on what’s going on in her business ventures including her clothing line with Wild Blue Denim.
5. When She Invited Us All To Her Birthday Party

Making her triumphant return to social media in 2017, Sadie Robertson made a big announcement that has fans thrilled.
“I am so excited, June 11, is my 20th birthday party, and I’m inviting all of you guys to join me!” she said in an Instagram video.
