When Does The Beth And Rip Spin-Off Premiere?
The Dutton Ranch will focus on Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler’s new life after leaving the Yellowstone ranch. Kelly Reilly (Beth) and Cole Hauser (Rip) will reprise their roles in the new series.
Finn Little, who played the couple’s “adopted son,” Carter, has also attached himself to the project. According to Variety, its official logline reads:
“Beth Dutton (Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Hauser) are grateful for the peace they sought, fought, and nearly died for with their 7,000-acre Dutton Ranch. With tough times and stiff competition, Beth and Rip do what they must to survive, all while ensuring Carter (Little) becomes the man he’s supposed to be.“

Previously, it was confirmed that Golden Globe winner Annette Bening signed on to play another new character, Beulah Jackson. Deadline described the character as “the powerful, cunning and charming head of a major ranch in Texas.”
Harris and Bening previously co-starred in the 2013 romantic drama film The Face of Love. The Dutton Ranch will reunite the pair onscreen for the first time in over a decade.
It’s not yet known when The Dutton Ranch will premiere. Paramount initially aimed to have the series ready for a late 2025 release. But those plans fell through, and its release date has been postponed.
Now, Paramount hopes to launch The Dutton Ranch sometime in 2026. Another Yellowstone spin-off, Y: Marshals, is already slated for an early debut that year.
