Twitter / ACM Awards

The 2021 ACM Awards kicked off just after the seven o’clock hour in Nashville and featured more than just a few performances – a remarkable change from the repeatedly delayed awards show last year due to the pandemic.

Taking over some of the most iconic venues in Nashville, the awards show featured performances and presenters from stages at the Ryman Auditorium, the Bluebird Cafe, and the Grand Ole Opry House among other significant locales.

Some of the biggest male artists of the year have been nominated and the competition was truly neck-and-neck. Here are the nominees for the 56th ACM Awards:

MALE ARTIST OF THE YEAR NOMINEES

Dierks Bentley

Eric Church

Luke Combs

…And the winner is… THOMAS RHETT!!

2021 marks the fourth year out of the last five that Thomas Rhett has taken home the award for Male Artist of the Year and the seventh ACM Award he’s won since his debut album!
