It’s The End Of An Era For Aerosmith
After 50 years, Aerosmith is bringing an end to their days as a touring act. The band announced on Monday (May 1) they are embarking on their farewell tour.
“PEACE OUT! After 50 years, 10 world tours, and playing for over 100 million fans… It’s time for one last go!” the band shared on social media.
The tour will fittingly be called PEACE OUT. The Black Crowes will join Aerosmith as the special guest on the trek.

The band said each night of the tour “will celebrate the five decades of Aerosmith’s groundbreaking hits as they celebrate 50 years as America’s greatest rock band.”
Aerosmith released a joint statement along with the tour announcement. They said:
“It’s not goodbye it’s PEACE OUT! Get ready and walk this way, you’re going to get the best show of our lives.”

According to the band’s announcement, the tour “will also offer a variety of different VIP packages and experiences for fans to take their concert experience to the next level. Packages vary but include a premium reserved ticket, a personal photo opportunity with band members, limited edition merchandise and more!”

The tour will start on September 2 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Aerosmith will wrap things up with their final show on January 26, 2024 in Montreal, Quebec at the Bell Centre.
Tickets will be on sale starting at 10 AM on Friday (May 5).
Aerosmith also shared a tour announcement video. The video follows various people from all walks of life as they start freaking out about a huge news report. Famous figures such as Slash, Eminem, and Dolly Parton are seen on TV expressing disbelief over the rumors they’re hearing.
Finally, Aerosmith appears on the screen, and confirms the rumors are true…they’re saying farewell. The latter part of the video features their hit song “Dream On” playing in the background.
