Yellowstone may be over, but the Duttons are not finished.
At the conclusion of Yellowstone season 5, the Dutton family sold their ranch to the Broken Rock tribe, a development anticipated in the prequel 1883. Beth faced off against her brother, Jaime, and ended up killing him. She cleverly arranged it to appear as self-defense, allowing her to escape without consequences. Subsequently, she and Rip relocated to a smaller ranch in Dillon, Montana.
Paramount+ has not officially confirmed a spinoff following Beth and Rip on their new land, but there have been some exciting new developments.
According to Bloomberg, the spinoff could be released as early as this fall. Paramount CEO Chris McCarthy and Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan have been reportedly hard at work on it.
The series is said to be called Dutton Ranch and will pick up where Yellowstone left off. Watch a recap of Yellowstone’s intense season finale below.

The Other Yellowstone Spin-Offs
Due to the show’s immense popularity, multiple spinoffs have been confirmed. The Madison is the most solidified series that has been promised.
The show has some major talent signed on, including Patrick J. Adams, Michelle Pfeiffer, Matthew Fox, and Beau Garrett.
According to IMDb, The Madison will follow, “A New York family’s life unravels after a tragedy, as they process grief while vacationing in rural Montana, exploring human connection amidst profound sorrow.” As far as we know, it does not follow anyone from the Dutton family, but it is considered a Yellowstone spinoff. Only time will tell how it all connects.
Next there is Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes), who stayed at the Yellowstone ranch with his family, has just been tentatively confirmed to have his own spinoff.
Lastly, 1944, a prequel to the Yellowstone hit, will explain the origin of the Dutton family. Not much is known about 1944, as 1923 just wrapped.
