*Spoiler Warning* The Moment Yellowstone Fans Have Been Waiting For Is Here

Beth and Jamie’s feud is finally over in the finale episode of Yellowstone.

The history between the two siblings is long and complex, filled with many ups and downs. Throughout the Yellowstone series, it becomes clear that reconciliation is impossible as their rivalry escalates.

Starting when they were young, Beth turned to Jamie and asked him for help when she decided to get an abortion after accidentally getting pregnant with Rip when she was a teenager. Jamie helped her and took her to the abortion facility, where things went wrong and ended up with her not being able to have kids ever again.

Beth blamed Jamie for this, and it is revealed that this is the start of their lifelong feud.

As time went on, Jamie discovered he was adopted. From that point, his interests gradually began to conflict with those of the Dutton family and Yellowstone.

Their lifelong feud came to a crescendo when Jamie, in partnership with his lover at the time, Sarah Atwood, hired the hit on Jamie’s adopted father, John Dutton. Although Jamie was not 100% sure that Sarah would hire the hit, he was still complicit.

Their Final Battle

In the season finale, Beth vows to her father that she will avenge his death. Her final words to him were, “I will avenge you.” Immediately following John Dutton’s funeral, Beth gets in her car and drives straight to Jamie’s house, where she picks a fight.

She hits him with a crowbar and pepper sprays him in the face. He then gets a few good punches in as he starts to fight back.

Beth ends up on the floor, and Jamie begins to strangle her, saying:

“You know what you are about to become? Another one of this family’s secrets.”

As he is strangling her, Rip comes in at just the right moment and throws Jamie off of Beth. Rip begins to beat up Jamie until Beth stops him and then kills Jamie with a knife through the heart.

Jamie is dead.

Rip confesses that he doesn’t know how he’s going to cover this up or help Beth. Beth responds that she has a plan, and then Rip does what he knows best. He dumps Jamie’s body, presumably at the train station, and lights his car on fire, covering up yet another murder for the Dutton family.

That ends the series’ long feud between the siblings.
