On September 19, NBC will premiere the 11th Season of The Voice, and we cannot wait!

The network has been revealing some secrets from the set little by little over the past few weeks including the very first promo video featuring coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, as well as the two new coaches, Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys.

On July 27, Us Weekly reported that the show was now filming the Battle Rounds rehearsals, where each coach has a celebrity advisor added to their team to help guide their singers.

It was announced that legendary rocker Sammy Hagar will be joining Levine’s team, Rock N’ Roll Hall of Famer Joan Jett is helping out Cyrus’ team, Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Charlie Puth is lending his services to Keys, and Shelton has the iconic Bette Midler as his advisor.

In a revealing interview on Late Night with Seth Myers on Thursday (August 4), Shelton dished out more behind the scenes secrets!

“Every year they come to me and they’re like ‘Hey, who do you want to be your mentor?'” he says. “And I’m like, ‘Bruce Springsteen. See if you can get Springsteen. Garth Brooks. See what Garth’s up to.’ So then once again, ‘Bette Midler. See what she’s doing.’ And I’ll be damned if she wasn’t doin’ anything. So she came and did it! It’s crazy!”

Bette Midler seems like a pretty good THIRD choice! Shelton was just shooting for the stars, and just so happens, she wanted to do the show! It looks like they had a great time, according to a photo Shelton posted on his Twitter.
