Gwen Stefani is officially changing her last name to Shelton. Well, at least that’s what the newlywed alluded to during a pop-up show with her husband, Blake Shelton shortly after they wed in 2021.

Less than two weeks after the two stars tied the knot in an intimate wedding on Shelton’s estate, and it appeared that Shelton was not used to his bride’s new last name. On Thursday, July 15, 2021, the “God’s Country” singer appeared in his Oklahoma bar, Ole Red, for a free rehearsal, and Gwen joined him on stage.
The happy couple serenaded the restaurant’s guests with duets, and Gwen even performed her hit song “Don’t Speak.” Just as starstruck as the crowd, Shelton gushed about his new bride, and he accidentally called his wife “Gwen Stefani.” Of course, Gwen could not help but poke fun at her new husband.
“I thought it was Gwen Shelton now,” Gwen teased during the show.

When Gwen finished her set, Shelton corrected himself by using her married name. Still, it will probably take some time for the country star to adjust to Gwen’s new last name.

This was also a cute moment, Blake was gushing about Gwen Stefani being in tishomingo and she said, “I thought it was Gwen Shelton now”. They were both so cute! ?❤️ pic.twitter.com/Cl5QDUCfQ1
